The Belvedere Boxing Club and the wider Rugeley community mourn the passing of former boxer, George Wilkinson. George’s death leaves a profound void, felt deeply by all who knew him.
From his earliest days at the club, George was an instant hit. He possessed tremendous natural ability in the ring, a fighter with skill and heart. Yet, it was his vibrant personality that made the most lasting impression. His spirit, camaraderie, and character endeared him to teammates and coaches alike, ensuring he will always be remembered with great affection and respect.
While his presence will be sorely missed, the legacy of his fighting spirit and friendship remains a permanent part of the club’s fabric. A celebration of George’ s life will be scheduled at a later date, allowing all who cherished him to come together in remembrance.
